Artisan Details

Mudcloth is made almost entirely by hand, and its beauty lies in its authenticity. Variations such as slight discolorations, pattern shifts, paint marks, or pulls and visible seams are part of the traditional process and reflect the human touch behind every textile.

The cotton used for natural mudcloth is unbleached, giving it a warm cream/ecru tone rather than bright white. Shade and depth of color will vary from piece to piece.
